Founder and Managing Director of World of
Difference, Gina Teague specialises
in the fields of intercultural training and career development. Having
undergone several international relocations herself, Gina has devoted
the past 13 years of her career to supporting expatriate and repatriate
individuals and families with personal and professional transition issues.
Her approach, which is to help the client
identify, understand and manage cross cultural differences, is designed
to enhance the client’s personal and professional effectiveness
and optimise the overseas experience for all involved. Her experience
and client base span the worlds of major corporations and not-for-profit
organisations.
- 13 years of experience in cross-cultural training,
relocation management, and career development.
- Author of “Culture Smart USA”, a joint
publication of SBS Australia and Kuperard publishing, UK, in addition
to various published articles.
- A native of the U.K., with 24 years of expatriate
experience in Brazil, France, Spain, the United States and Australia.
Gina is proficient in French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- M.A. in Organisational Psychology and an Ed.M. in Counselling
Psychology from Columbia University, New York.
- Designed and delivered cross-cultural orientations
to over 30 countries; programmes include cultural awareness, country
briefings, domestic diversity, multicultural team building, career
and life planning, and job search skills.
- Designed content for interactive web-based instruments,
including an interactive career self-assessment instrument and a “Cultural
Awareness Wizard”.
