Cross Cultural Training
Preparing
for an international business trip? About to embark on an overseas
assignment? Manager of a multi-cultural team or diversity initiative?
What works in Warsaw can backfire in Beijing...... Increase
your effectiveness and confidence by developing cross-cultural
competency. |
Pre-Departure/Post Arrival Cross-Cultural Training
Programmes prepare relocating families to navigate life in the
new culture, providing them with information, advice, and an opportunity
to have their questions addressed by relocation professionals and destination
country experts. Special attention is paid to the needs of dual career
couples and of families across different stages of the life span. Optional
ongoing support is available.
Cultural Awareness
Programmes offered within the context of a diversity initiative
or international business venture help participants understand the role
culture plays in determining how individuals and groups think and behave.
Cross cultural case studies, experiential exercises and strategy building
sessions provide the tools for navigating the challenges and capitalizing
on diverse approaches when working with people from different cultural
orientations.
Country/Cultural Briefings equip individual business travellers
or work teams to "hit the ground running" with information
on the target culture's business practices. Topics may include relationship
building, protocol and etiquette, communication, decision-making and
negotiating styles, and conflict management.
All programmes are highly customised,
based on a needs assessment, to meet the unique set of personal and
professional circumstances of each individual/family.
